Perks of being a teacher

I am a teacher
I wake up too early and go to bed too late
I'm thinking about school the whole time
I can be Mom, Dad, Sister, Brother, Therapist, Hug-giver, Judge,
Rule-follower, and never stop loving
I put my students need before my own
I think I am getting old so fast here hahhahaha
I spend more school supplies than my wardrobe
I don't care about how I look and I teach 100%
I want to be their best friend,
I hear stories from my students that make me laugh
Being a teacher is really exhausting and exciting at the same time
